DashcamBounty (dashcambounty.com) is a static publication. We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information directly, except what you choose to send us by email.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to serve advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links (e.g. Amazon Associates). The destination site may set cookies to attribute purchases; we receive aggregate commission reports, not your personal data.
Analytics
If we use analytics, we use privacy-respecting, cookieless measurement where possible. We do not sell personal information.
Public records
Company violation data published on this site is drawn from public government records (NYC Open Data). Requests concerning that data are handled per our corrections policy.
Bounty board data
The bounty forms collect contact details (name, email, optional phone), incident details, and optional qualification answers. Contact details are never published; public bounty pages show a first name and last initial only. If, and only if, you check the consent box on the bounty form, we may share your contact details, incident details, and qualification answers with a licensed attorney or insurance professional so they can contact you about your incident. Dashcam registrations are used solely to email you about footage requests near your area. To remove a bounty or a registration, email us via the contact page and include the bounty reference or the email you registered with. If you respond to a bounty, your note is forwarded to the poster; we share your contact details only when both of you agree to be introduced.
